As mentioned above, willingness was discussed as a major issue in the context of implementation within the organization. Using new approaches also requires willingness on the part of participants and partners. A system which is configured well and is delivered smoothly, “It does exactly what it says on the box!” will improve the experience of the user. A system which appears to send a user around in circles through unclear navigation, demands too much personal information, or appears ‘buggy’, will turn people away.
The purpose of a hub is to be the convergence point of a network. It may host services, it may be rich in knowledge, but if it does not encourage or facilitate traffic flow it will not serve its purpose.
