RSS Feeds

Most popular news websites will feed news articles as RSS. The symbol on a website normally indicates that feeds are available. Typically if you click on the icon a web location (URL) will be opened. The address can then be copied to a new subscription in a RSS reader to manage the feed.

Google News (http://news.google.com) aggregates news items from thousand of sites, which can be searched, for example for news relating to a thematic area. Users can subscribe to the returned results which can be automatically updated into an RSS reader through RSS options available on the Google News results page.
